‘Impressions’ is a work in progress, an unreleased series of video-portraits devoted to the visual representation of scenes inspired by Greek mythology.

Its aim is to superimpose a physical portrait (the actress/actor posing as a mythological figure) to a mental one (the unseen aspects of mythology’s subconscious influence on the imagery of our inner landscape).

‘Persephone’ – a representation of the goddess’ mother grief over her loss – is the series’ first installment.

The performer portrayed is the actress Eleni Zarafidou.
